Malossi POWER UP CLUTCH SYSTEM clutch groups are designed to provide an answer and solve all the problems that inevitably arise when the technology of the clutch group is not suitable for other engine components. A traditional clutch, which must transmit more than doubled power to the gears, also having to turn much faster, can lead to the bell sag under the effect of centrifugal force, creep and deformation resulting in metallic noises. annoying and not very reassuring, until the classic slip of the clutch caused by the insufficient friction developed by the original discs, which prevents in particular the transmission of all the power emitted by the thermal unit, thus partially canceling its potentialities .

 

The two versions of the POWER UP CLUTCH SYSTEM Malossi have common characteristics:

POWER UP CLUTCH BASKET clutch bell made of high strength steel with surface hardening treatment to increase wear resistance and, therefore, durability.
Reinforcement ring welded with TIG technique on the outer diameter of the bell to effectively counter the centrifugal force developed by the higher speed of rotation.
4 clutch discs with high performance friction material.


Reduced and recalculated coupling tolerances, especially in the connection between the thrust disc and the bell, in order to eliminate annoying metal vibrations and increase the life of the component.
The two clutches are driven by a series of main springs with a high elasticity coefficient, 6 in the bell for PX 125 and 7 in the bell for PX 200 E, and are fitted with a set of auxiliary springs, always 6 for the PX 125 and 7 for the PX 200 E, to be used in higher power configurations. This adjustment allows the user to tailor the clutch to the engine configuration, taking advantage of all possible processing levels and configurations.
