The 2-stroke engine requires precision in your drive settings, remember that the drive replaces the gearbox. If your engine gives as an example 13hp at 12,500 rpm, it will give less power at 11,000 rpm and also less power at 13,500 in overspeed. This is why it is important to find the perfect grammage which will make it possible to exploit the right speed throughout the opening of the variator. This rise must be longitudinal and smooth. A roller that is too light will send you into overspeed and will not allow your drive to close properly, on the contrary, a roller that is too heavy will close the drive too much and you will not be able to reach the power speed.
