Ideal on small and large configurations, mandatory on well-equipped machines, here is the adjustable competition motor spring DOPPLER ER1, this model is mounted on MBK 51 CLUB, HARD ROCK, MAGNUM and many other models ... On MOTOBECANE 88 and chassis other, you will have to make an adaptation to put it! This spring will allow you to more or less force the rise of the engine. The more you try it, the more the motor will force to go up.
The ideal is to use the right power regime, all without being able to be disturbed by the external parameters (bumps, weight of the exhaust, braking ... which make the engine move and therefore disrupts the opening / closing of the variation) . If your motor offers for example 13hp at 12,500 revolutions / minute, but it offers 11 to 11,500 revolutions / minute and flange above 13,000, you would have to reach these 12,500 revolutions during all the rise of the variator.
You will therefore adjust your variator and your spring to ensure that you reach this perfect parameter. Too hard, your belts will wear out, and you may not be able to use the full range of the drive (especially large range), too soft ... The drive will close very quickly and you will never be able to feel the power of your engine or to operate it! The perfect ratio can therefore be achieved with a perfectly adjusted variator and this spring. This spring is of very good quality, mounted on a semi-link for a little more freedom, the materials are good and the adjustment range is excellent. The maximum stroke of the least stretched spring is 122mm and at most stretched it is 80mm which is more than sufficient even for a large range. You can also adjust the engine to the trigger without touching the tension thanks to the semie-rod before.
