Consequently, it is necessary to clean the exhausts with water and soap as for a bodywork. If it is too greasy and dirty, avoid products that attack too much like gasoline, simply clean it with a multi-use penetrating oil like WD40 or other. Every month or 3 months, dismantle and degrease the exhaust using thinner on a cloth, degrease it ready then simply varnish it, if there are traces of rust or other, in the worst case, spend a little 1000 paper stroke (very fine) so as not to lose the color. Then varnish the exhaust at room temperature 20/25 ° C. Wait about 30 minutes between each layer! No need to put 36 layers, a small layer of attack + a large layer of shine is enough. Whenever it rains, remember to lubricate the exhaust.
