Here is the Stage6 BigRacing 88cc Cylinder / crankshaft pack for Derbi Euro3 engine.
Contents of the pack:
Cylinder 88cc D.50mm 45mm stroke - 90mm aluminium wire with 5 inlet transfers and an exhaust light with bar,
Complete Piston Vertex mono-segment diam. 50 mm,
High compression aluminium monobloc,
Gasket pouch (base and cap),
Vilebrequin HPC stroke 45mm axis 12mm,
Bearing set and joint spy SKF C3 polymer cages.
4x Goujons
The design of this Stage6 BigRacing set was done in close collaboration with the MXS Racing workshop in order to obtain a completely innovative product.
Visually, the thermal group is quite basic but beware, appearances are sometimes misleading. Indeed, this cylinder is entirely designed on a basis of a 50 mm diameter and not a real lower model, so it's a real big bore. It thus benefits from large intake ducts and an even wider two-part exhaust!
The slogans of this BigRacing range are: simplicity, performance and reliability!
- The assembly of the cylinder kit is indeed very simple and requires only a few simple millings of the engine housing. As for the squish, this one is already predefined when machining the cylinder.
- From a performance point of view, we were able to obtain on our test bench (a Dynojet) a power of 27,23 horsepower for 14,01 Nm with a standard type configuration (carbu 28, admissions Stage6 R/T High Flow, Hyper Racing exhaust ...etc).
- Since the cylinder has fairly low diagrams, a fairly large water chamber and a high-quality piston, the assembly will remain reliable provided it has the appropriate settings.
With a cylinder capacity of 88 cc thanks to its 50 mm piston and its 45 mm stroke, it is necessary to mount its crankshaft in long stroke!
The outer mould is based on a replica of the original cylinder, and has an annotation of 49cc. But we want to reassure you, it's a 88cc.
Attention: It is imperative to use longer studs (M7x120mm) for mounting this cylinder kit.
