Complete RRD HYBRID engine for MBK 51. This complete competition engine includes a specific aluminum fixing welded to the cylinder head to be able to fix the engine block on the chassis of the MBK 51! To stay within something usable, we stuck to a stroke/bore ratio of 43mm X 50mm. The basic cylinder is the BARIKIT BRK 85cc. You can, on request, ask us for another model! The cylinder is modified specifically to accommodate a side water outlet as well as blocking the original lower water outlet of the cylinder. The whole thing is extremely powerful and must receive an exhaust worthy of the name!!!
The crankcases are the famous MVT G4 with their large intake and bulkhead! Nothing to do with cut-off scooter casings, we're on a set of racing casings!
The basic valves installed are BOYESEN for obvious reasons of high-speed performance. We chose to deliver this engine with a 30mm PWK carburetor.
The ignition installed is the MVT DIGITAL DIRECT specific for this assembly on these casings!
The installed variator is the only variator to support and transmit this power, the MALOSSI VARIOTOP big silk! The latter works significantly better despite the spring pressure to hold the power, better than a scooter variator which is designed to operate with a torque corrector.
The engine must receive many hours of work, blocking the water outlet of the cylinder, drilling and tapping the cylinder side for the water outlet, welding and creating an engine attachment to the cylinder head. Assembly, cutting clearance, Alignment, squish, leak test, ignition adjustment... This is why we charge 2 engine assemblies for this hybrid!
*Attention, it is up to you to drill your lower support to fix your mainspring, it is also up to you to find the appropriate belt with the MALOSSI MG variator and the assembled parts!
**Engine delivered without air filter, without exhaust, without mainspring, without anti-parasite, without radiator, without water pump... Remember to provide a good quality water pump (electric POLINI recommended), so consider a have a good regulator/rectifier and a small lithium battery with built-in BMS. Provide a properly sized radiator. SP98 with 3% MOTUL 800 ROAD, octane booster recommended! B9ES spark plug for adjustments and running-in, then R6254E-105 spark plug
***On request, other parts can be requested for assembly. Please note, if you request a cylinder which is designed for a crankshaft stroke other than 43mm, the machining, rework and alignment work will be significantly higher and will require additional hours billed! The installation of a high TOP PERFORMANCES cast iron 85cc engine is a great base although this high engine is heavy, but it requires a little adaptation work to go from the 44mm stroke to the 43mm.
