The DELLORTO Ø21mm PHBG DS racing black edition carburettor is a PHBG carburettor revised and corrected by the Italian Dellorto technicians in order to obtain even better performance as well as a simpler adjustment. For example, the needle is no longer disassembled with 2 screws but with an aluminum cap that can be unscrewed at the top and the nozzle can be disassembled without removing the tank, simply by removing the aluminum tank cap! This carburetor is of very good design and quality.
The needle, float, plug… remain identical to the normal PHBG. The alloy is of better quality, the machining also allows less rebounds of better performances by its micro scoring and shape of grip! We will regret the lack of finishing and polishing on the air filter side. The tank is it obviously in aluminum. The Ø21mm has the same body as the Ø19mm.
