The famous Simonini 90cc kit. A real beast of performance and a very good base for the preparers. With its 46mm stroke and its 50mm piston diameter it outputs 90.32cc of pure torque… Its cylinder is made of nikasil treated aluminum, for a time, the SIMONINI nikasils were quite fragile, now we find them of much better quality than the nykasils cylinders like TOP (top performance aluminum). The finish of the whole is excellent!


SIMONINI chose the diameter of 50mm for its high engine, which goes very well with the 46mm stroke, this cylinder has a booster exhaust which makes it possible to combine performance and strength. The diagrams are low enough for such a set, you can push them back 130 ° for the intake and 191 ° or more for the exhaust.


The piston is a very high-end VERTEX model with anti-wear graphite treatment (black treatment). The piston is obviously in mono hard chrome domed segment to allow very high speeds, it has side grease nipples and it has been passed in axis of 14mm (against 12mm of origin) for more solidity! The cylinder head is a high compression model with a single polished aluminum frustoconical combustion chamber, we would have strongly preferred a two-part model because this maxi kit with the friction caused by the 46mm stroke has a big tendency to heat up (not overheating) .


At the level of the crankshaft, SIMONINI has therefore created a 46mm stroke (against 39.00mm of origin) in order to allow a breathtaking torque and to output real 90cc. This crankshaft is relatively well balanced and has a 90mm connecting rod against 85mm for the origin to cause less suffering to the piston, indeed, the shorter the connecting rod, the more the piston will have premature wear. SIMONINI could have passed his crankshaft in coarse bristles in order to avoid vibrations and to promote solidity… Maybe in a future version. SIMONINI even thought of adding reinforced studs longer than the original ones. With such a kit, enough to take off the bench at more than 20hp with a breathtaking torque for good preparers. The value for money is really at the top especially for such a worked piece and a much higher finish / quality than some big brands.


We recommend at least to accompany this kit
: adapted muffler, bearings set C3 reinforced cage normal bristles, large carburetion 24 minimum, competition clutch, cold spark plug, good cooling ...

Recommended retail price 424 euros Excluding tax + 15% VAT in Luxembourg = 487.60 euros.

For the assembly of this maxi kit, you will be obliged to carry out the following machining in order to pass the big end. It's pretty easy to do. Only the crankcases must be modified, in no case the big end (crankshaft side) of the crankshaft.
