The BIDALOT house strikes very hard with this new WR 96cc, it should however be known in advance that embarking on a 96cc WR engine from BIDALOT is not an easy task, machining of the casings to pass the masses of the crankshaft which are more bigger than the original
So that the 95mm long connecting rod does not hit, preparation of the casings for alignment with the cylinder and clearance of the admission, large carburation in 30 to 32mm, valves, exhaust, ignition, adapted settings... You need a big budget and knowledge to succeed in making the beast speak, it is not enough to have the pack and put it down.
The cylinder has 7 intake transfers for excellent sweeping, an exhaust bar + boosters, to make a nice exhaust outlet and a nice duct, the French brand has decided to install a 4-screw fixing, it you will therefore have to buy the flange separately, it exists in several diameters to adapt to each exhaust, but you will have to ask a 32mm diameter anyway to exploit the monster!
The piston is obviously equipped with an ultra-thin domed hard chrome steel segment 1mm thick so as not to slow down the revolutions by giving excellent compression. Cooling is not left out since BIDALOT has designed a specific scheme.
The cylinder head has also been relatively worked for a foolproof reliability and a good extraction of calories. The piston pin has been increased to 13mm, a smart choice to increase reliability but preserve a low weight compared to a 14mm!
For the crankshaft, it's also radical, BIDALOT used a specifically balanced crankshaft for the 96cc pack, the connecting rod is increased to a length of 95mm to slow down the forcing and is machined mass! The masses go from 77mm to 80mm to preserve reliability despite the long stroke of 48mm (against 39.2mm of origin) and the large diameter crank pin of 18mm. All this has a price since it will be necessary to machine the casings completely to pass it!
Ultimately, we are on the most powerful kit on the market, a real monster of power, to be accompanied by a good configuration and a big budget (it is better to know this before starting).
As an option we offer you a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust port by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement of the piston and the lower skirts is also included in this modification. Count a little extra time for this preparation!
