Thanks to the treatment, its shapes and its composition, this piston has been very well designed and studied in order to offer better thermal expansion, at the same time agreeing perfectly with this cylinder to withstand frank revisions, sudden changes of regimes. and prolonged use. you will be as surprised as we were with this material which guarantees extreme reliability and performance that is largely up to date.

 

We recommend it with at least : a relaxation exhaust, a minimum 30mm carburetion (flat bushel will be perfect), original cylinder head. If your engine is prepared, or still old, we will recommend changing the crankshaft, in passing do not hesitate to install a reinforced connecting rod kit. A set of rigid carbon valve slats will also be welcome in order to exploit the good speeds.

 

As an option we offer a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust port by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement to the piston and the bottom of the skirt is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!

 

This model 122 (unlike the 123) does not need any modification to the position of the valve to install a pneumatic valve! The hole is already made! In any case, on ITALKIT models, all ROTAX cylinders have the hole!
