Unapproved cylinder not respecting the 125cc displacement.
Here is the complete 140cc cylinder / piston kit from the big brand ITALKIT Competition for 125cc 2-stroke engine ROTAX 122, aprilia RS, AF1, EUROPA, PEGASO, ... and other models.
This kit is no longer like the original, ITALKIT has fully optimized this cylinder in order to offer a real gain in power compared to the original while preserving excellent engine solidity and reliability, a diameter of 57mm for the piston VERTEX is a displacement increased to 140cc.
The cylinder is therefore an aluminum model with very well designed architecture and channels. With genuinely well-designed specific intake transfers and a large valve and boost exhaust, in oval / enlarged form.
The valve exhaust system is identical to the original, the valve is not supplied with this cylinder, you will have to take back the original part but we strongly recommend the use of the pneumatic ITALKIT valve.
The aluminum alloys used are excellent and will guarantee increased reliability and solidity of your engine you will understand, provided a perfect assembly, clean and without burrs.
This cylinder is accompanied by a piston of the brand, high-end VERTEX with specific heat treatment.
Thanks to the treatment, its shapes and its composition, this piston has been very well designed and studied in order to offer better thermal expansion.
At the same time, it goes perfectly with this cylinder to support frank recoveries, sudden changes in speed and prolonged use.
We recommend it with at least :
a detent escapement, carburetion at the minimum of 30mm (flat bushel will be fine). Pneumatic ITALKIT valve if possible. If your engine is prepared, or even old, we will recommend changing the crankshaft, by the way do not hesitate to ask a reinforced connecting rod kit. A set of rigid strips of carbon valves will also be welcome in order to exploit the right regimes.
Optionally we offer you a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust light by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement in the piston and bottom of the skirt is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!
This model 122 (unlike the 123) does not need modification at the level of the valve location to install a pneumatic valve! The hole is already made! Anyway, on the ITALKIT models, all ROTAX cylinders have the hole!
