Here is the BRK Competition 88cc thermal unit in diameter 50mm. Like the AIRSAL Xtrem Red, it has a special 45mm stroke.
This cylinder / piston and stud bolt offers maximum performance at all levels, it is solid, reliable and efficient!
It is designed to be installed exclusively with a 45mm stroke crankshaft, original size 85mm connecting rod like the special 88cc AIRSAL or BARIKIT 45mm stroke crankshafts, with 12mm axis.
With its 50mm bore diameter and special 45mm stroke, it develops an actual displacement of 88.35cc.
In terms of intake transfers, this aluminum cylinder has 5 specific ones.
The front side transfers are designed to go under the exhaust, the base is also well designed to offer more performance and improved sweeping / filling, you will have to align the crankcases to the cylinder to develop all the power of this kit .
BARIKIT being one of the largest piston manufacturers, this cylinder is fitted with a sapphire blue model single segment piston (blauzafir), so it has a blue graphite treatment. We regret the absence of a preparation on the rear piston to optimize the sweep. This piston still allows high speeds with its fine chrome steel segment (reduced friction).
On the exhaust side, it is therefore a very large model with internal bar. This racing version is also equipped with the famous cylinder head which can be broken down into two parts (stud bolt).
The latter offers better cooling and inevitably additional performance, the stud is an incoming model to preserve a well-centered combustion chamber. This is a high compression tapered version, polished finish.
In summary, it is a very good kit with an excellent quality / price ratio, the performances are there especially at high speed!
It is the maximum power which is aimed without neglecting a crumb of torque.

We recommend accompanying this kit with at least:
- Ø24mm carburetion with flexible mounting admission kit
- BARIKIT or other 45mm stroke crankshaft with reinforced bearings C4 and / or Celeron

- Racing exhaust adapted to high BRK diagrams with large volumes
- Cold racing spark plug
- 100% synthetic racing engine oil of quality ...
As an option we offer a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the exhaust port by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement to the bottom of the skirt is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!
