ATHENA has 2 kits for minarelli am6 in 70cc, this one is sport, in good quality aluminum with a very high-end nicasil chrome treatment, the finish is excellent.
The diagrams are also very good, this kit is wedged between torque and high revs, you will get both, moreover, it is very famous for doing a lot of kilometers for an aluminum, certainly even the strongest aluminum that have is seen on am6 in 70cc. Its piston is made of a domed hard chrome end single segment to allow the highest revs and avoid friction. The cylinder head has a polished tapered high compression chamber.
The gaskets are also of excellent quality, ATHENA is also a major manufacturer of gaskets and recognized throughout the world. The 47.6mm diameter will be an asset on an original race (39mm), it is closer to the so-called "square" engine than a large 50mm diameter which easily unbalances the engine movement. The exhaust is of a special anti-wear / improved sweeping shape. In conclusion, it is a very solid and efficient aluminum kit that can be used for everyday riding (outside France because it is not road approved), stunt riding, etc.
Aesthetically, it is relatively sober, it takes the original shape in a cleaner, beautiful metallic gray and it is marked ATHENA in 3D. As an option we offer you a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust port by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder.
