Here is a 80cc first price kit from the Spanish company AIRSAL, the model we call mono-segment, this kit also exists in luxury with TECH piston bi-segment at the price of 177 euros with us!
This kit certainly has a low price but yet a quality and performance very present. Its diameter of 50mm still offers 76.57 cc real in combination with the normal stroke of the minarelli am6 therefore 39mm. Compared to the bi-segment model, it will offer more high revs (it is barely felt) but less longevity and less torque, the piston of the other model is a luxury AIRSAL bi segment, it is a VERTEX luxury but mounted mono with lateral grease nipples.
The diagrams have a good torque / high speed ratio (around 187/131/130 °), coupled with this large 50mm diameter so we recommend this cylinder with a good configuration all the same! A good racing exhaust, a minimum 24mm carburetor to operate well, a crankshaft and reinforced bearings…
The finish is really good for such a price. The piston is therefore the hard chrome domed mono-segment model, it has lateral grease fittings. The cylinder head is a high compression, the chamber is incoming in order to have a good alignment chamber / cylinder and a good behavior of the cylinder head gaskets. The chamber is a hemispherical model with a polished finish. This cylinder head allows you to reconnect the antifreeze to your carburetor if desired. This cylinder is delivered with 2 base joints in order to place the desired squish.
Clearly this cylinder is really a superb quality / performance / price ratio! It will certainly be less efficient than a MALOSSI MHR, BIDALOT, or POLINI because its distribution, its channels, the study, the exhaust venturi… are relatively limited, alike it is a nykasil scanimet, incomparable to nykasil hard or ceramic plasma! But it will already remain very efficient, especially for those who do not want a complex kit and difficult to talk about. A good trainer will also be able to draw quite mind-boggling performances.
We recommend it with at least : 24mm carburetor with air box prep + 0.30mm / 0.35mm valve flaps, racing exhaust, crankshaft and reinforced bearings, cold racing spark plug ... Warning, this cylinder has an Ø28mm exhaust and is delivered without exhaust wedge to 25mm, if you have a Ø25mm exhaust pipe you will need an exhaust wedge. In any case, we recommend a Ø28mm outlet.

Optionally we offer you a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust light by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement in the piston and bottom of the skirt is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!
