Here is the new PINASCO racing aluminum kit Ø48mm, manufactured at GILARDONI, the largest cast iron in Italy! This kit is a monster of power ... Once again the proof that the power is not in the largest diameters but indeed in the finesse, the study, the diagrams and above all the quality!
Let's start with the cylinder, this model is therefore 48mm in diameter which offers real 70.57cc along with the original 39.00mm crankshaft stroke. This cylinder is a very high-end aluminum, the treatment is a nykasil GILARDONI therefore very high-end, the bore is perfect! It has 6 intake transfers which is very rare on minarelli am6 kits, its exhaust is a normal model certainly but very wide!
The diagrams are quite high, a large carburetion as well as a racing exhaust like the MALOSSI MHR GP 80, the MALOSSI MHR super motorcycle or other in the very racing type. The channels are well studied, the transfers are increased on the front in order to improve filling and sweeping. You should at best align the kit with your crankcases. The piston is a VERTEX racing model, hard chrome mono segment 1mm thick to allow the highest speeds, this piston has a very low crown bending angle.
This piston has a rear cutout improving filling. The cylinder head is in bie -partie (with stud) in order to obtain an optimal cooling, this cylinder head is polished hemispherical chamber, perfectly adapted to the piston. By the way, the compression ratio is 12/5 In short, PINASCO and GILARDONI have hit hard, this kit does not require any preparation in terms of diagrams, channels, transfers…. He is perfect! You will certainly have noticed the prepared skirt that is loose to optimize the sweep and fill.
Perfectionists will certainly bring a little finishing / polishing on the exhaust and the piston cap but the finish of this cylinder is impressive. We will only blame one thing, no joints of different thickness to properly adjust your squish!
We recommend mounting this kit with at least : minimum Ø21mm carburetion (24 recommended for maximum use), ignition supporting the turns, racing exhaust adapted to the 190 ° diagram, reinforced crankshaft, reinforced bearings, B10 spark plug, etc.

As an option we offer you a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust port by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement to the piston and the bottom of the skirt is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!
