In preview, it is available from us! Here is the 80cc Ø50mm kit for DERBI EURO 3 and 4 engine (mécaboites DERBI, APRILIA after 2006, GILERA….). This cylinder is very efficient, of high quality and at a very affordable price. Another very good top engine from the Italian firm. The diameter of 50mm offers real 78.53cc in the company of the 40mm stroke of the original crankshaft of the DERBI engine.
The cylinder is a 5-transfer transfer, the exhaust is a large model with boosters, it is made of aluminum with a very high-end treatment, the diagrams are very based on high speed and quite high! With a 1mm squish (recommended by Athena) you will get a compression ratio of 16: 1. The cylinder head is a decomposable model (in 2 part). The high compression chamber has a frustoconical shape and a polished finish. In order to prevent the breech block from turning, the island is caught on the studs.
You will have to accompany this powerful kit with a good crankshaft, racing exhaust, well-released ignition, large carburetion ... We are already sure that this cylinder will be all the rage, especially on the euro 3 and 4 engine from DERBI where there is no not a lot of choice! The kit is obviously supplied with 4 base gaskets (2 aluminum, a paper and 1 transparent) to make your squish! It is also delivered with the complete instructions.
The piston is a very high-end graphite model mounted mono to slow down the revs, the segment is a hard chrome domed model pre-run in very fine high-end steel for less friction. Another advantage, the kit is delivered with the valve seal (very often during assembly we retouch the intake) ... For the cylinder head gasket, for reasons of solidity, ATHENA preferred to remain on an aluminum plated gasket (also widely used on large displacement 2 stroke els).
We recommend this kit with : crankshaft and reinforced bearings (set C4), RACING muffler, large carburetion (24mm to 28mm round bushel for the best with this type of exhaust), racing slat valves 0.30 to 0.40mm depending on the diameter ... Cold candle, ignition well released ...

As an option we offer a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust port by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement to the piston and the bottom of the skirt is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!
