Finally available from us! The brand new EVOLUTION 3 from POLINI on minarelli horizontal liquid motorization. This kit is the replacement of the POLINI evolution 2 kit, which was already an evolution of the EVOLUTION 1! This is to say if progress never stops…. This evo 3 model is a high-end nykasil treated aluminum kit, its bore is Ø47.6mm which offers a displacement of around 70cc real.
The diagrams of around 190/130 are well based for circuits, between peak and torque! The piston is a single segment model to allow the highest speeds, this segment is very thin (0.80mm), hard chrome and domed so that friction is once again lower! This piston is treated with a high silicon content which gives it this very matt appearance like the MALOSSI MHR, this piston has also undergone a small POLINI preparation on the back in order to improve the scanning. The exhaust is a bar model unlike the EVOLUTION 2 which was a booster!
It is therefore a bar like the EVOLUTION 1, it was however completely revised and corrected in terms of shape, duct ... To avoid seizures and offer even more performance. This exhaust has a rectangular outlet, it may seem rather surprising but it greatly improves the efficiency of the exhaust on horizontal. The admission is made by 6 transfers, 2 rear, 4 side which are also very well drawn by passing under the exhaust.
Base level, transfers are intended for large carburetors, we will recommend this kit with a 19mm minimum carburetor and 24mm at 26 to properly use it. The cylinder head is a bipartite stud model in order to obtain the best possible cooling, especially coupled with the special reference diagram of the cylinder for optimal cooling. The combustion chamber is a polished truncated high compression model. We recommend a 0.50mm squish for torque and 0.65mm for high revs!
Obviously as on all real competition kits, a set of base gasket of different thickness is delivered in order to make your squish. This cylinder is announced by polini has the power of 21 hp at 13,400 rpm. We will have greatly appreciated the torque / high speed ratio on this kit, the finish is flawless, the treatment very solid! A very large cylinder.
We advise to accompany this kit with at least : adapted racing exhaust like the POLINI evolution, reinforced crankshaft like the polini evolution 1 (preferably polini evolution 2), minimum carburetion 19mm, 24mm to operate correctly, cold spark plug, reinforced bearings ...

As an option we offer a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the exhaust port by increasing the diagrams and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement to the bottom of the skirt is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!
