These VL9 valves have a thicker base in order to absorb the closing of the slats and to make the closed inlet more watertight. They are reviewed and corrected at other levels by MHR and used for cups like the GP 80.
Valves that we recommend for a carburation of 17.5 to 28mm, they are excellent on small, medium and large configuration. They are delivered with 0.30mm carbon slats. You can buy a separate set of slats of all thicknesses to make better adjustments (namely that the engine that speaks at low speeds (torquey) will accept thinner slats and the engines that speak at very high speeds will require very high slats. rigid (like 0.40mm). These valves are delivered with a diffuser (venturi), do not make the mistake of removing it! This diffuser brings you in performances. The ideal is to align your pipe with this diffuser.
