The fundamental characteristic of the RS24 / 10 shock absorber is the presence of an external reservoir which allows a significant increase in the quantity of oil present and therefore a lower heating of this oil under the conditions of maximum stress during the competitions, and which also allows the displacement of the diaphragm in the external tank.

 

 

The presence of the external reservoir mainly allows the adaptation of a third piston with the corresponding lamellar block which controls the braking of the stroke of the shock absorber in the compression phase. Compressive braking, a special feature of the RS24 / 10 shock absorber, can be adjusted in 10 positions by acting on the knob on the top of the external reservoir.
