The POLINI racing valve box was made to improve the original intake of the MBK 51 / Av10 Motobecane engine. This valve box has more or less proven itself throughout its existence. Thanks to its aluminum base you will be able to install large valves, the valves provided are a model with 2 blades of 0.30mm in carbon.
This valve box has stop slats that you can remove if you wish. Nothing differentiates this model in 15 from the model in 19mm apart from the intake pipe. The pipe is bent and will therefore position your carburetor on the side of the machine as originally. We recommend accompanying this box with a Ø17.5 to 21mm DELLORTO carburetor.
The finish is not too bad, we will have appreciated that the intake pipe is internally microblasted to avoid throttle rebounds. You can mount on this valve box the famous POLINI adhered Racing valves which can also be mounted on POLINI housings without Peugeot 103 support! This box against the ATHENA does not have paper seals but O-rings.

A little advice from the RRD team :
-Mount the three intake pipe screws on rubber or thick gasket so as not to wear out the pipe.
-you can slightly prepare the outlet of the valve box in order to obstruct the intake less.
-align the box and the housings together.
-In order to prepare the box, a lot removes the stops slats, we estimate that it is almost obligatory on this box to obtain good performances, you can also put the POLINI valves bonded.
