When an engine is minimally prepared or equipped, it is important to use the correct range of engine speeds to obtain the maximum power! Originally, the drive starts to close very early, from 5500-6000 rpm (when the motor is still far from its interesting power range) while it should close earlier if you want to adapt your variation your configuration more powerful than the origin).

To imagine the point with a car for example, if you change your gears very early around 2000 rpm, you will not have enough engine inertia and it will not be in its optimal power range, you have to aim for high revs to get the most out of your engine!

It is therefore important to put a harder spring, which will cause your variator to start closing about 3000 rpm later! You will therefore exploit the maximum power regime.

This small spring will therefore be excellent for a small configuration like:
