The DOPPLER Sport crankshaft is a reinforced model, balanced and in full masses below the ER1 and ENDURANCE DOPPLER models, it is really intended for the reinforcement of the low engine and to accompany a slightly prepared engine. The steels used are of very good ranges, they are treated and well hardened, the balancing is dynamic and well cared for! Material that really surprised us !!!
When we talk about finishing at DOPPLER, we do not skimp and that for all vilo models! Named Sport at RRD and ORIGIN at DOPPLER, we preferred the name so because it looks nothing like an original model with its full masses, its reinforced connecting rod ... The finish is really at the top for such a price.
The connecting rod is placed on a reinforced crank pin and a well increased cage with copper anti-friction wedges. Aluminum plugs obviously come to cover the balancing openings. For more pre-compression, the masses are ultra full. The lubrication is obviously reviewed and corrected too. The connecting rod is a high quality model well designed, manufacturing method cast then polished.
In summary, this crankshaft will withstand without problem original or slightly prepared configurations of the 50cc or small 70cc kit type. For engines requiring more high speeds and more efficient, we will still prefer to use the ENDURANCE or ER1 model but all the same more expensive! The connecting rod size, the stroke, the diameter of the bristles remain as the origin.
