Here is one of the best quality-price ratios on the market offered by ARTEK . The ARTEK K1 crankshaft is a reinforced, balanced and full-mass model for piaggio. It is really intended for lower engine reinforcement and performance. The steels used are top of the range, they are treated and well carburized, the balancing is dynamic and really neat! For more pre-compression, the masses are solid with special coating. H-shaped forged connecting rod which is placed on a reinforced crank pin and a much increased cage with anti-friction wedges. Grease points at the head and connecting rod foot were put for increased reliability. Thanks to its architecture and its quality, this crankshaft can take a rotation speed of 14000 rpm! Careful dynamic balancing. Delivered complete, as in our photo, with its reinforced needle cage. In short, this crankshaft will withstand most equipped engines, it offers excellent performance and strength to match. For engines intended for higher speeds and more efficient, we will still prefer to use the K2 model, which is certainly more expensive but designed to support larger engine configurations!
