This crankshaft in this 42mm long stroke will allow you to directly increase your engine displacement regardless of the high engine you install. However, be careful, switching to a long stroke increases the diagrams, so do not install a kit that has very large diagrams in 39mm stroke on a 42mm stroke under penalty of obtaining unusable diagrams. We totally advise against switching to a 50cc kit (d.40mm) in long stroke, you would turn in hyper race….
In short, the 42mm stroke if it is well accompanied will prove to be a very big gain in torque and performance. If you want to put it on a kit for normal racing as you need to provide a 1.5mm shim! To best plan to align the lights at bottom dead center, you also need to check the diagrams during assembly.
