Here are TEKNIX crankcases for MOTOBECANE AV7 motor moped 88, AV44 ... Admission on the cylinder, 2 transfers. Ideal to start again on a new engine, they are not very expensive, they are however delivered 100% complete with seal, bearings, spy seals, screws, studs….
The alloy is of very good quality! On the internal finish side, these new versions are better than the old versions, machined interior, grease holes for the bearings ...
The exterior finish, that of the joint faces…. Is perfect. As strange as it may sound, the bearings are pre-assembled. We therefore recommend that for fitting the crankshaft in the freezer overnight, to heat with a heat gun or using a special tool the center of the bearing then to assemble!
Solution 1 , We simply recommend that you upon receipt of:
1- heat the housings
2- remove the bearings and spy joints
3- heat the crankcase again and reassemble the spy, bearings (previously placed hot on the crankshaft which will have been in the freezer before) ...
Solution 2 , protect your oil seal with a socket the size of the crankshaft by entering it from the outside of the crankcase, quickly heat the central ring of the very hot bearing, and mount the assembly on the crankshaft freshly taken out of the freezer!
