A magnificent kit for enthusiasts and collectors because on the verge of extinction, overpowered at high speed thanks to its booster exhaust, its 46mm diameter, surbird piston manufactured at the famous VERTEX with a fairly flat cap angle, it preserves a circle on a diameter 40mm more rounded in order to keep the original cylinder head, its shape is special anti-friction and opening of the blind transfers at 77% of the stroke, the piston is made of lightened alloy and high silicon content, flat segment in L, it also has side grease fittings.

The cylinder is made of high quality aluminum alloy manufactured in the famous GILARDONI cast iron (the largest in ITALY recognized for its quality). rpm, it's a top notch kit with low torque for our tests. Only people who have tried it can understand the feeling this kit offers! A huge boost above 7500rpm… You would almost think that it is kit that gave the phrase to young people (the kit snaps into place…) It is the only 46mm kit on the peugeot 103 to have exhaust boosters (with the AIRSAL and BARIKIT ) and a surbird piston by VERTEX.



For the finish, I will give a score of 7.5/10 because various things make us say it, such as the rear transfer too obstructed, the boosters badly formed and badly finished, exhaust too square, rough piston blinds and full of traces of molding. ... You will be able to achieve a lot of power especially with a preparation because this kit really requires it as well as a finish, for example the traces of molding in the blind spaces of the piston create turbulence. Feel free to ask us.

The blind system certainly allows the "chat", the beauty, the selling point, less friction but above all a lot of turbulence, know that, if this system is not used in competition it is because there are reasons. The L-type segment certainly offers a lot of advantages, but it quickly heats up and is untraceable, so you will have to change the piston every 6000km or so. To conclude, the GILARDONI 70cc has an ultra special system and offers extraordinary performance at high speed.

We recommend it with at least : a crankshaft and reinforced bearings, 17.5mm carburetion, competition spark plug, correct settings, racing exhaust.

As an option we offer you a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust port by increasing the diagram and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder.
