Here is the evolution of the MVT PREMIUM, named DIGITAL DIRECT (DD). The Premium having had an undeniable success (almost 70% of the prepared machines ended up running with MVT Premium) MVT could not remain unanswered! And the answer is really good... This new DIGITAL DIRECT has all the advantages of the old MVT PREMIUM with some improvements. First of all, the ignition curve has been improved, this curve is still really defined for powerful and very powerful engines.
Obviously, thanks to a specific EPROM you will be able to have several curves and an advance adjustment by combination of number. Otherwise, it simply stalls at 0.4mm before TDC with an original stroke crankshaft and 0.35mm with a long stroke crankshaft (an advantage for some who found the setting at 0 not necessarily simple and precise). To increase the advance, it suffices to pivot the stator towards the direction of rotation (that some 0.1mm has the gauge) and the reverse to decrease.
Very simple thanks to the 2 side Allen screws. Its power has been further increased to 42kv, which is the highest on the market (pay attention to the carburetion settings! If you are poor, you will quickly have a mechanical accident...). This ignition is more efficient than the MOTOPLAT, it was created by the great ALAIN GAUDOU ( MVT boss and designer of renowned competition parts)!
In terms of looks, you will appreciate or not the fluorescent orange color for the stator! A plus minus for the rotor which is black anodized... Apart from that! The rotor, the coil HT.. Remains technically identical to the premium. We regret the absence of an inertia disc (some people like to use this kind of accessories especially on track).
It develops up to 22,000 rpm maximum with 2 sparks per revolution. Obviously it always preserves its lighting circuit to power your lights, water pump or other accessories! This ignition is the only internal rotor with reliable and powerful lighting on the market with the standard premium. Delivered complete as presented. (picture to come)
