The new ignition POLINI uses the front technique, not to be confused with the internal, some are disappointed because it requires great knowledge to properly mount and adjust, for a connoisseur who will take care of this fragile piece, he can come out of it an excellent power, we also hear a lot of good compliments.

This ignition has no lighting or 12V power supply, so it's a real ignition competition, run, track ... It has a higher ignition power at the origin and it has of course advance variable.
In addition, aesthetic side it is really beautiful. Reaching 17,000 laps while maintaining excellent acceleration torque will not be a problem with this ignition, in the limit where you have good equipment and good settings next. The discs delivered in the pack are used to vary the distance between the stator and the rotor, they are placed between the stator and the plate very simply, moreover, the POLINI ignition has a sensor. The distance between the rotor and the stator may vary if you change the crankshaft, if you change the crankshaft one day, always remember to recheck when reassembling.
We will appreciate the wiring and the very complete beams provided in this ignition, the ease of setting the advance of the ignition thanks to its 2 lateral adjustments of the plate as well as the more than serious fastenings of the sensor with machined shims, fixing the stator via 7 stainless steel screws ... The novelty compared to the 2011 version is that it is only available without lighting and without electric start. This version has in addition to a box 4 curves for even more performance and have an ignition perfectly adapted to your configuration!
Calibration advice and settings :
-Distance between rotor and stator: 2.4 to 3.2mm.
-Rotor with key on the crankshaft as the origin! Clamping at 30Nm or 3.0Kg / m.
-Advance advance by loosening the plate to vary!
According to configuration:
1-Place 27 ° or 2.8mm before TDC with a setting rod or a strobe gun! Button 1 of the box on ON, and button 2 on OFF
2-Place 23 ° or 2,4mm before TDC with a setting rod or a strobe gun! Button 1 of the box on OFF, and button 2 of the box on ON.
