This liquid-cooled engine for PEUGEOT 103 offers more performance and reliability than the air version, liquid cooling allows more ignition advance, to run with a leaner and more explosive air/fuel ratio, and allows a lower fuel consumption rate. higher compression, this engine is complete and very well equipped, it has :

-Kit 70cc aluminum liquid cooling with cylinder head, 6 transfers, single-segment POLINI W, automatically, with STAGE 1 preparation

But be careful, on these machines, with special housings, it may be necessary to purchase an SP spring for the front mounting and an SPX spring for the rear mounting!

Everything is equipped, assembled according to the rules of the art (squish, volumes, improvements to the head and bottom end lubrication, etc.), and controlled. To even better accompany this complete engine, you can install the new POLINI exhaust or another model.

Clearly it is still scalable but already very efficient!!! If you want to install a decompressor, plan to buy it because the block comes with a cap!

Give it a good break-in of 400km, and slowly increase the power while adjusting your variation to try to exploit as much as possible the 9,000 to 10,500 rpm over the entire climb range. And check your carburetor settings. 100% synthetic MOTUL 800 ROAD oil highly recommended, 3% during break-in, and gradually (from 200km) down to 2.5% or even 2% (too much oil lowers the octane level and therefore the engine performance, not enough risk of tightening and wear too quickly)!

As an option, we offer an engine preparation, it allows you to operate at a speed of around 10,000 rpm compared to 8,500 for the stock version. This preparation includes a modification of the diagram and the exhaust channel, a slight touch-up to increase the intake diagrams (lateral), an improvement of the intake on the piston and the rear cylinder skirt, a general improvement of the piston. An improvement of the pipe / valves group. To be accompanied by a good motor spring / variator adjustment to exploit 10,500 rpm!
