This engine for PEUGEOT 103 is complete and very well equipped, it has :

-Kit 70cc aluminum air cooling, 6 transfers, two-segment MALOSSI

- Ø46mm cylinder head for POLINI 70cc high compression kit

- Decompression cap (you can remove it to put a decompression)

- Carters MALOSSI large valves built-in support

- Rigid 19mm intake pipe special MALOSSI housings

- MALOSSI VL6 valves

-Carburetor PHBG 19.5mm DELLORTO rigid pre-adjusted

-Specific MALOSSI air filter for SPX / RC X / MVX / CLIP

-Reinforced bearings C3 polyamide cage

- Crankshaft reinforced full ARTEK masses

- Crankcase screws, cylinder head, studs ... High quality

-Motor delivered as standard with a small paste to take up the mainspring of the SPX / RC X / MVX / CLIP, you can buy a DOPPLER mainspring in your basket, in this case, we mount the spring and remove the small paste!

The whole is equipped, assembled according to the rules of the art (squish, volumes, improvements in the greasing of the big end and connecting rod feet, etc.), and checked. To better support this complete engine, you can install the new POLINI exhaust or another model.

Clearly it is still evolving but already very powerful!!! If you want to install a decompressor, plan to buy it because the block comes with a cap!

Give it a good run-in for 400km, and gently put the power on while adjusting your variation to try to exploit the 9,000 to 10,500 rpm as much as possible over the entire climbing range. And check your carburetor settings. 100% synthetic oil MOTUL 800 ROAD strongly recommended, 3% during the break-in, and gradually reduce (from 200km) to 2.5% or even 2% (too much oil lowers the octane rate and therefore engine performance, too little risk of tightening and too rapid wear)!

As an option, we offer an engine preparation, it allows to operate a speed of around 10,000 rpm against 8,500 for the stock version. This preparation includes a modification of the diagram and the exhaust channel, a slight retouching to increase the admission diagrams (lateral), an improvement of the admission on the piston and the rear cylinder skirt, a general improvement of the piston. An improvement of the group pipe / valves. To be accompanied by a good motor / variator spring adjustment to exploit the 10,500 rpm!

*Delivered without dimmer, the ER3 doppler is a very good dimmer.

*Delivered without strap, plan a good quality strap like the DOPPLER

*If your original 103 is 6V, provide bulbs and a 12V voltage regulator to go with your MVT PREMIUM ignition
