CGN offers you a good compromise to start fresh with a 100% complete engine without exhaust or carburetor! Original type, its quality, its design and its study are very good for the price which is very low, but we remain on a low-end engine like all the engines found on the web, which are actually assembled in made in Turkey . Be careful, some unscrupulous sellers put photos of them with carburetors! These engines are never delivered with carburetor but as in our photos!
With its Ø39mm, nothing is modified or improved. The original type aluminum cylinder is equipped with 2 intake transfers, the cylinder head is also original type, as well as the two-segment piston.
The crankshaft that equips this engine is a normal original connecting rod assembly, made of 16mm bristles. The bearings and spinnaker seals are obviously fitted and supplied.
The variator is equipped with a clutch system identical to that of the MBK 51. Also of good quality, it will provide good grip when starting / accelerating and above all not stalling at a stop.
On the “ignition” side, the equipment is also very good and well studied. Electronic type, it will therefore be more reliable and efficient than the original model with a breaker.
The intake is accompanied by an original type pipe diameter 12mm to be able to mount your original GURTNER carburetor. If you wish, you can easily change the pipe to a 15mm and a 15.15 SHA carburetor for more performance.
The exhaust is chrome colored, of very good quality. It will offer you neither more nor less performance than an original.
You will therefore have understood that this complete assembled engine is a very good compromise between price / quality / reliability in the sense that the price is very very low!
But... Let's be clear, like all the low-cost engines found on the web , this engine is made in Turkey with very approximate processes, relatively low-end materials... We are very far from an engine hand-assembled in Europe with quality materials like our RRD engines! The high engines are mounted with grease, the chrome treatments are low-end, the pairings are approximate... The ignition is low-end, the squish zone, the compression ratio are absolutely not studied... The variator is of poor quality. We are sure of the first prize! Don't expect to do more than 500km without problems with this type of engine with the variator and the original high engine, one of the two will cause you problems at some point! You will get a better deal by choosing the complete RRD engine.
As an option, we offer a STAGE 1 preparation, this preparation includes a selection of the best part from our stock, a clear improvement in the shape and exhaust diagram, an alignment of the intake as well as a special retouch of the skirt and the piston according to our best tests. This preparation requires an additional time of 2 to 10 days depending on our availability! It requires tools and around 1h30 of work on this cylinder. The price is therefore accordingly.
