P2R offers you a good compromise to start afresh with a 100% complete engine! Original type, its quality, design and study are very good.Beware, some unscrupulous sellers take pictures of them with carburetors! These engines are never delivered with carburetor but as in our photos!

With its Ø39mm, nothing is changed or improved. The original type aluminum cylinder has 2 intake transfers, the cylinder head is also original type, as well as the two-segment piston. The RRD team appreciated the overall finish which is excellent. The crankcases too, the aluminum used for this block is of high quality and will provide good engine cooling.

The crankshaft which equips this engine is a normal crankshaft of origin, in bristles of 16mm. The bearings and the spy joints are obviously fitted and supplied.

The variator is equipped with a clutch system identical to that of the MBK 51. It is also of good quality, it will allow good grip during your starts / acceleration and especially not to stall at the stop.

On the "ignition" side, the equipment is also very good and well-designed. Electronic type, it will therefore be more reliable and efficient than the original model with switch.

The admission is accompanied by a pipe type origin diameter 12mm to be able to mount your original GURTNER carburetor. You can without problems if you wish to change the pipe for a 15mm and a 15.15 SHA carburetor for more performance.

As an option, we offer you a STAGE 1 preparation, this preparation includes a selection of the best part from our stock, a clear improvement of the shape and the exhaust diagram, an alignment of the intake as well as a special touch-up of skirt and piston according to our best tests. This preparation requires an additional period of 2 to 10 days depending on our availability! It requires tools and around 1h30 of work on this cylinder. The price is therefore accordingly.

 

Option 2: STAGE 2 engine preparation, improvement and reliability of the engine with the installation of a 70cc 45mm AIRSAL kit prepared, installation of a 15mm intake pipe, improved and pre-adjusted SHA 15mm DELLORTO carburettor. We do not propose improvement of the variator because we do not trust the original type variator delivered with this motor in terms of precision and quality of materials! We strongly recommend to our customers the use of a DOPPLER ER2 variator + DOPPLER clutch pulley despite the cost and the aesthetic impact, otherwise, the use of a real variator of motobécane origin with the installation of a MALOSSI VARPLUS , provide a BR9HS spark plug, a CDI 12V and a high voltage coil for original type electronic ignition, also provide a resistive anti parasite LB05EMH, engine to run with 2.5% 100% synthetic oil in SP98 or SP100 / 105 uniquely. Attention, engine to accompany very good brakes and good tires !!! Especially with the use of a DOPPLER variation! The original mainspring can be amply preserved! With this setup, you can add a bit of a head start by shifting your ignition! The original engine parts (cylinder, piston, clips, axle, gaskets, intake pipe ... are sent to you!)
