This emulator is used to deceive the lambda probe to improve the AFR (air/fuel mixture), it would be even more ideal if it was installed with an exhaust line without a catalyst! This is similar to engine reprogramming without modifying the ignition curve. The evolution undergone by motor control systems in recent years has resulted in the design of this new version. The simulation of Lambda sensor signals now perfectly matches the original sensor, but its aesthetics have been refined and enriched with an essential optical interface, simulating the real operation of the device.
The Power LED allows you to keep the power supply under control while the two remaining LEDs show the carburetion status. When the vehicle is turned on, the Power LED and the Rich LED light up. After a period of probe heating, if you are in the closed loop control zone of the lambda sensor, the two Rich and Lean LEDs light up alternately. This type of behavior highlights the correct operation of the device by means of continuous calibration of the A/F title.
