Description

The well-known and renowned POLINI housings for PEUGEOT 103 sp, mv, mvl, lm,… Please note, they cannot be fitted on PEUGEOT 103 SPX / RCX / CLIP… Their biggest advantage is that they are very complete while being efficient , in this pack everything is delivered, reinforced bearings for normal bristle crankshaft, starter lug (cirette), adjustable competition mainspring, studs, oil seals and normal seals, two intake pipes of 2 different sizes (15 and 17, 5/19), competition valves, housings, an earth braid, a few screws, instructions….



In short, they are really 100% complete. The intake is therefore quite large, it will be able to accept a 21mm carburetor without difficulty, the intake side crankcase is micro blasted in the rules of the art and the crankshaft passage polished correctly. The architecture is reviewed and corrected for better delivery / distribution, no more pre-compression by filling in dead volumes ... Obviously, the casings transfers are planned to be associated with a large kit. The pipes are however polished inside and not microblasted, something that a good preparer will see again with the micro balling before assembly!



The valves are mounted with 2 slats with a division of 0.35mm thick in fiber, they have unfortunately non-drilled slat stops. Will greatly appreciate the engine support incorporated in the crankcases and mounted on rigid silentblocs! Power level, with a good kit, good carburetion and variation, you might as well tell you that there is something to fly in relation to the very bad original Peugeot 103 crankcases which have a very bad and poorly studied architecture, sweep and admission. We will regret a fragile alloy!



We recommend at least to accompany these casings : reinforced crankshaft with normal bristles, cylinder / piston / racing cylinder head kit, 15 to 21mm carburetor, racing spark plug, racing air filter ...
