Malossi is pleased to introduce two new gearboxes for scooter and Piaggio 50 cc engines, designed for competitions and for a sporty customization of the original vehicle. Malossi, with a view to optimizing all transmission parts, has reduced friction remarkably by replacing the original housing, die-cast with sliding friction movements, with two gravity-cast housings, equipped with special bearings .
These new casings, machined with extra precise, robust and light machine tools, are able to withstand the very high workloads typical of competitions. Completely interchangeable with the originals and fitted with all accessories, the Roller Crankcase reduce friction by 4% in the 2514521 MHR version and 6% in the 2514603 MHR TEAM version. These latter housings, in particular, require the assembly of the Roller Gear Malossi secondary gears:
