Description

DENSO IRIDIUM IW27 spark plug in its MALOSSI MHR box: The spark plug par excellence for over-equipped engines, it is the spark plug that is used for the MHR TEAM 80 cup , really nothing to do with all other spark plugs, solidity, self-cleaning, spark… this is the result of numerous studies. The most upscale that we can have especially for this model which is the IW27 revised and corrected from the olive to the end of the electrode! The very high price is explained by the components and the study, it is worth it for the really pushed engines because the gains in performance and longevity are really present. Only use this type of spark plug once carburation is adjusted, when making your adjustments, use an original type spark plug with a hotter index. In correspondence with NGK we have the B9 EGV.

Malossi description:

An important factor in the choice of candles is the heat range which defines the amount of heat that the candle can exclude from the combustion chamber. Spark plugs which operate at too high or too low temperature create problems: the former do not cool sufficiently and are the cause of pre-combustion, the latter generate a deposit of carbon on the electrodes.
Denso operates between 400 and 900 degrees, an ideal range to allow self-cleaning of the spark plug between one combustion and another.

This one therefore offers :

1. a more powerful spark with a lower voltage;
2. better ignition and more lively acceleration.
