Here is a good solution to improve the performance of your TMAX 500 after 2008 while remaining discreet and for a completely reasonable price. This competition air filter will replace your original filter. It will allow better breathing of the motor (therefore obviously better filling). This filter is washable. To maintain it, every 7000km, disassemble it, wash it with a filter cleaner (DNA, KN ...) and oil it with an oil for adequate air filter.
